They say go big or go home and if you live Downtown Dallas, well it doesn’t get much bigger than that. Consistently named one of the top 10 skylines in the US, the Dallas views continue to bloom year after year.

Downtown Dallas isn’t what it used to be, and that’s a good thing. Ranked by Forbes as the 3rd fastest growing city in the United States, Dallas has seen a major makeover in the last decade alone. The downtown area has continued to evolve with renovations, bringing in new restaurants, shopping centers, hotels, and even company headquarters. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?

The skyscrapers modern architecture might look astounding from afar but there’s also artsy scenery at street level. Parks built by world-renowned architects, fountains and sculptures give a walk downtown eye-popping appeal – literally – there’s a famous sculpture of a 30-foot eyeball outside the 5-star Joule Hotel. Check it out!

The city core has something to offer for all ages. The main summer attraction downtown features Klyde Warren Park. During the day food trucks line the street and ice cream stands can be found throughout the park. Families flock to this area for a relaxing afternoon while many other events can be found here throughout the summer such as free live music, yoga classes, and boot camps. Always something new going on at Klyde Warren Park.

Aside from the food trucks (we recommend you try them all), there are plenty of restaurants to choose from without hopping in your car. 360-degree views at Reunion Towers 50th floor restaurant create the perfect date night or take a walk down Main Street to find some of Dallas’ best fine dining and cocktail bars. Plenty of good eats here.

Living downtown clearly has its perks, one of them being the wide selection of apartment styles. Remodeled buildings from the 20’s and 30’s offer huge industrial style layouts. High ceilings, concrete floors, and exposed ductwork create some of the most unique floor plans we’ve ever seen. New sky rise apartments and penthouse views are up for grabs too. With most of them maintaining that lofty downtown feel, you can still get your fix with a rooftop pool. Whatever you’re looking for, you know we’ve scoped it out.

Some of the best shopping in town surrounds downtown living. Walk out of your high-rise lobby and step right into the hustle and bustle. A high-end shopping experience driven by fashion hubs and exclusive retailers attract shoppers from all over. Staying in the heart of the city, shopping will always be at your fingertips.

There’s always action downtown and so much for residents to discover. Amphitheaters, museums, and aquariums are a few more must-see attractions; tourist love these too. As a downtown resident, you can walk to almost anything but don’t forget about Dallas’ public transportation for easy access all over the metroplex.

Downtown Dallas is a unique living experience unlike anything else in the DFW area. Just a sample of the life you can expect in this urban community. Try to keep up in this fast-paced environment, a downtown lifestyle could be calling your name.
